Only at place like USC could the administrative coordinator of the physics and astronomy department have such an impact on the school's football team.
But, for around eight seasons now, that's exactly what Lisa Moeller has done with her faithful support of the Trojans from her fourth-floor office window that overlooks the USC practice field.
Each week, Moeller posts a sign in the window that says "Beat (the next opponent)." And each week, the Trojans conduct practice with that support watching over them, reminding them of their next goal. This week, it has read "Beat ND," next week it will be "Beat OSU" and so on through the season.
Moeller, who has worked at USC for 10 years, said her view from her office in Seely G. Mudd room 407 is one of the biggest perks of the job, and she merely wanted to make the most of the location.
"It doesn't take too much to put it up there," said Moeller, an Arizona State grad who has since converted to become a part of the Trojan Family.
While the weekly thought might not require too much effort, the signs definitely have an impact on the Trojans.
"I always wondered who did that -- I've thought all along that it was a really neat gesture," said head strength and conditioning coach Chris Carlisle, who has been at USC since 2001. "She's always supporting us. That is so cool."

The Trojans conduct practice this week under a "Beat ND" sign hung from the window of SGM 407, where physics and astronomy administrative coordinator Lisa Moeller affixes a special message for the team for every game.
