The news continues to be extremely positive concerning Stafon Johnson's recovery.
After a slew of tests today, Johnson's status remains very encouraging as he heals from emergency throat surgery following a weightlifting accident 10 days ago.
"We got a great report from the doctors today," Coach Carroll said. "He's progressing ahead of schedule and it sounds like the doctors and surgeons are delighted with his condition."
Carroll said all the well wishes mean so much to Johnson, and Kim Mallory, Johnson's mother, echoed that sentiment.
"Thank you all for your continued prayers," Mallory said today. "From my heart, Stafon and I appreciate the cards, prayers and your ways of showing us you care. Stay prayed up because we still have a ways to go."
