Nothing but good news keeps coming from the Stafon Johnson recovery front.
Exactly two weeks after his serious throat injury and emergency reconstructive surgery, Johnson continues to stay ahead of schedule and is expected to be discharged from the hospital this week.
"He's in very high spirits and looking forward to getting out of the hospital," Coach Carroll said.
Johnson's mother, Kim Mallory, said doctors have been amazed with her son's "strong faith and determination to win."
"The docs are so proud of him," Mallory said.
