It will be reunion weekend for walk-on tailback Ahmed Mokhtar.

The first-year Trojan spent his freshman season in 2007 at Oregon State before transferring, so he'll be seeing several familiar faces when the Beavers enter the Coliseum on Saturday night.

"It should be fun," Mokhtar said.

Mohktar spent the 2008 season at Orange Coast College prior to transferring this fall into USC, where he's serving as a scout-team tailback for the Trojans. The Laguna Beach native and Mater Dei graduate said the change from Corvallis to L.A. has been a positive move -- especially when factoring in the weather differences.

"Nine straight months of rain wasn't doing it for me," Mokhtar said with a smile.
