The Trojans brightened the lives of dozens of kids today.
Eleven players and Coach Carroll spent part of this morning and early afternoon with sick and injured children at the L.A. County-USC Medical Center, touching the lives of the patients, family members, nurses and doctors.
"Giving back to those who are in need is one of the most important and rewarding aspects of life," senior offensive lineman Jeff Byers said.
Besides Byers, the other players who attended the team's annual visit to the pediatric and adolescent intensive care unit were wideout Damian Williams, offensive lineman Butch Lewis, cornerback Josh Pinkard, safety Will Harris, offensive lineman Charles Brown, linebacker Nick Garratt, tight end Rhett Ellison, quarterback Aaron Corp, fullback Adam Goodman and wideout Garrett Green. The USC Song Girls and members of the Trojan Marching Band also came along on the visit. See some photos from the visit here:

I LOVE when "my" boys give back to the community!
It must be a real eye-opener for the players to see these frail children FIGHT ON with just their will to survive. Their reality right now is various medical procedures and an uncertain future. God Bless them and their families.
