After more than eight months, the Trojans returned to a familiar time and place: A game's eve in a hotel ballroom once again. And it doesn't get much better than that.
"It is so good to be here on a Friday night," Coach Carroll said during tonight's team meeting, grinning ear to ear.
The Trojans cycled through their usual regimen of meetings and film sessions in hotel ballrooms this evening, finishing it off with a typically poignant speech from Carroll.
"Don't hold back now," Carroll said to the players and coaches who were sitting silently, soaking in every word in his 10-minute speech. "Tomorrow, I want to see the picture of us playing with all our heart."
