Coach Carroll became Professor Carroll during this afternoon's team meeting as he taught lessons gleaned from Saturday's game that can be immediately applied to the upcoming matchup against Ohio State.

"I hope we learned that it doesn't matter who we play," Carroll told his players. "And this week is exactly the same. It doesn't matter who we're playing, where we go or what they look like. It's not about them; it's about us."

With media mayhem already swirling around this weekend's game, Carroll downplayed the magnitude of the matchup today in his own unique just-another-game kind of way.

"I want you guys to be comfortable and handle it all gracefully, like we know how," Carroll said. "We've just got to get ready to go play football."
