Hello Trojan Nation! This is Sourena Vasseghi along with my speaking partner Rich Finley joining you for another year of Sourena's Sentiments!

When my last post went up before the 2009 Rose Bowl, Mark Sanchez was looking ahead to a possible Heisman Trophy senior season, the Lakers hadn't won an NBA title in seven years, and if you said you 'tweeted' all the time, people would think you were a crazy bird person.

My, how the world has changed.

Well, let me catch you all up on what's been going on in my world. The last eight months or so have been really great. It started out with ESPN Gameday's piece on me the day of the Rose Bowl, which you can see here. That link is part of my new site.

Not only that, but Rich and I have gotten into the two largest speaking bureaus in the world: Washington Speakers Bureau and Eagles Talent Speaking Bureau. Being a part of these organizations just gives us a chance to travel and spread the message of Win Forever along with my personal story to even more people, which is so exciting! On our new site, you can follow us on Facebook and Twitter as well as see videos of our speaking for audiences, see a special message from Pete Carroll, and lots of other cool stuff!

Ok, enough self-promotion, onto this season. Wow, what an opening game for the Trojans this weekend. Wow! USC looked GREAT this weekend! We may end up having a much more explosive offensive team than anyone expected, and the new defense looked a lot like the old defense. I had a great time Saturday and got to hang out in the locker room afterwards.

Something I'll let you guys in on, Taylor Mays has promised me a game ball upon getting either an interception or fumble recovery this season (I tried to wrangle a date with a Song Girl, but Taylor is a tough negotiator). So, you, the fans, can join me in Taylor Watch '09 which now stands at one week! Let's go Taylor! And let's go Trojans! Fight On Saturday!
