DUBLIN, Ohio -- The Trojans have arrived in central Ohio.
Their charter flight departed LAX at 6:30 p.m. and, after a quiet trip that saw players nap and watch movies on their personal DVD players, touched down at Port Columbus International Airport at 1:45 a.m. Eastern time. A 30-minute bus ride later, and the team had reached its hotel in suburban Columbus, where the Trojans checked into their rooms, ate a buffet snack and are now heading to bed around 3 a.m. Eastern time.
While it's awfully late right now, two factors are softening the blow -- wake-up calls don't come until 10:30 a.m. Friday and the three-hour time difference between L.A. and Ohio makes things better than they appear.
Check out some photos from tonight's journey from southern California to central Ohio:

A security worker waves the wand over Matt Barkley before the team's charter flight departed from LAX on Thursday night.

Offensive tackle Charles Brown watches as security personnel go through his bags at LAX's Imperial Terminal.

Tight end Blake Ayles boards the team's charter flight at LAX.

The Trojans rest, relax and watch movies during their four-hour flight from L.A. to Columbus on Thursday night.

Under a half moon, players disembark their charter plane at Port Columbus International Airport near 2 a.m. Eastern time tonight.
