An estimated 20,000 people came out to A Better LA's July 4 celebration at the Coliseum, which included games, food and an hour-long fireworks show above the Olympic torch and peristyle.
"It was a day of peace and family enjoyment, just the way it should be, as the dream of A Better LA continues on," A Better LA volunteer Scot Obler said.
