The USC men's volleyball team, presumed finished after losing four of six matches to end the regular season, has now advanced to the NCAA title game after a 3-1 win over defending national champion Penn State on Thursday night in Provo, Utah.
Now, top-ranked UC Irvine stands between the Trojans and their first NCAA crown since 1990, and the two conference foes will battle for the title on Saturday at 4 p.m. on ESPN2 and ESPN360.com.
