Today's turnover-themed practice is getting started now on Howard Jones, so we'll return with a report after the half-pads workout.
It's all about the ball today -- will the offense avoid giving the football up or will the defense record at least one takeaway? -- and the day's winner will be determined in a matter of hours.
"Let's pitch a shutout today," offensive coordinator John Morton said to his players this afternoon.

How does coach Carroll feel about the USC style of practice being copied at UDub and Tennessee?
I know that imitation is the greatest form of flattery, but does Pete think that Sark and Kiffin are making use of their own philosophies or just feeding off of his own?
Carroll is a competitor by nature.
What are Sark's and Kiffin's true natures, and shouldn't they be carving out their programs to fit what is really true about their own characters? Not a complaint, but each man must go his own way to be true to himself.
I recently read that Sark is using the same terms as "Competition Tuesday", etc. I'm not surprised, but a bit miffed at the cookie cutter approach.
I also read recently that Kiffin is bringing the USC offense to Tennessee which is a bit more understandable... given the trend in the opposite direction of people copying the spread option and variants of the west coast offense.
