Today marks the 10th anniversary of the Columbine High School massacre, and the date hits close to home for one member of the USC coaching staff.
First-year special teams coordinator Brian Schneider grew up in the Denver suburb of Arvada, Colo., and attended Colorado State. But the tragedy had an even closer connection to Schneider because his dad was the principal of a high school in the same district as Columbine and his cousin was a freshman at Columbine when the shooting occurred.
"It's just a funky day," Schneider said.
