Today is a dreaded one for much of the nation (thanks, Tax Day), but for the USC coaches, it's a joyous day of celebration.
That's because, after more than two months of quietness, it's the first day of a 45-day evaluation period on the recruiting schedule, meaning coaches are allowed one phone call per prospect and four weeks of in-person evaluation (which will begin after Spring Practice for the Trojan coaches).
To commemorate the momentous occasion, coaches are currently walking around the office with cell phones attached to their ears as they talk to prospects and their families.
