All signs point to today being game day for the Trojans.
The players are pumped, the pads are on and Coach Carroll has delivered a fervent speech to the team this morning.
"You battle! You fight!" Carroll passionately yelled during the team meeting. "That's how this works. We have to compete better and longer than anyone we play. That's who we are."
The principle is magnified even more since the Trojans are heading out for the Trojan Huddle in the Coliseum, a special opportunity the players and coaches most certainly cherish -- especially today.
"Never take it for granted," Carroll said of playing in the Coliseum. "Never."
