The Trojans just took the field for the fifth workout of Spring Practice 2009 -- and the first one in full pads. A competitive scrimmage-like session will occur at the end of the practice, so it's the first major opportunity of the spring for the players to show who they are in a real game-like environment.
"A great competitor isn't going to miss an opportunity -- he's always looking for the next shot," Coach Carroll told the Trojans during this morning's team meeting. "Today's one of those opportunities. It's a performance day for everyone."
