The Trojans are about to hit the field for Practice No. 12 and Scrimmage No. 3 of the spring, but not before assistant head coach for the offense Jeremy Bates has given his players some last words of advice for the game-like simulation on Howard Jones.
"Play fast and have fun," Bates said.
Following the scrimmage, the Trojans will head over to McDonald's Swim Stadium to participate in Swim With Mike, the annual swim-a-thon that raises money for the USC Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund. We'll return in a few hours with a report from the scrimmage and fundraiser.
